What a subscription unlocks is "multi-config management" and "cross-device cloud sync" — not translation itself. The free tier already gives you full use of every translation feature.
FAQ
Besides the subscription, do I also pay the LLM provider?
Yes. The subscription fee only covers Flash Translate’s own multi-config and cloud-sync service; the token cost of actual translation is billed directly by your chosen LLM provider (OpenAI / Google / Anthropic, etc.) at fully transparent rates — you can review estimated usage in the extension’s local logs.
Is my API key safe?
Free-tier keys are encrypted on-device with AES-256-GCM and never uploaded. Subscriber keys are transmitted end-to-end encrypted and held server-side — never written to disk or logs in plaintext. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Is the free tier enough?
The free tier gives you full use of selection, full-page, and subtitle translation. The only limits are a 2-config cap and no cross-device sync.
Where do I subscribe?
Inside the extension’s settings page, after installing — no action needed on this website.
How do I cancel or request a refund?
See the Refund Policy — Chrome and Safari have different actual refund channels even though pricing is identical, so follow the flow for your install platform.
